ACTION: TAKE SOME LOVE
“At the risk of seeming ridiculous, let me say that the true revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love.” – Ernesto Che Guevara
Love Letter is a print project that extends beyond Valentine’s day, when it was conceived, to take place everyday by reminding us to center love in our actions. As prints gifted to the public, it is intended to call up the greatness that is often hidden and protected deep within ourselves. That which we are asked to hide to in order to survive. White supremacy, ableism, classism, misogyny, and homophobia, to name a few, demand smallness from so many of us. Love Letter asks us to recognize our greatness and our power as indispensable to collective struggle and survival.
Find Love Letter posters at our takeaway table in the front gallery of YBCA. Go through the stations of our artivist gym 24 Hour Resistance while you’re at it! Tag us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using #100daysactionWant to hear about more events and updates? Sign up for our newsletter below!
