ACTION: VINYASA YOUR WAY OUT OF PROTEST ACHES
Yoga for Protests is a 45-minute easy-to-moderate level vinyasa yoga class with a specific emphasis on poses that help with long periods of standing and sign-holding, as well as “iPhone neck” (from constantly looking at news and social media—often while at protests). The class will address: 1. How different it feels to be with other people in an embodied sense (at a protest, or in this case, a yoga class) versus online 2. How to take care of oneself enough to be able to fight in a long haul situation 3. How to make protesting a regular part of one’s life. Beginners welcome.
